Why is it important of PLC Cable?
Allen-Bradley PLCs often communicates via serial ports using the DH-485 protocol. Modern laptops and desktop computers rarely come with built-in serial (DB9) ports. The USB-1747-PIC/UIC converter solves this compatibility issue, providing a convenient USB interface for programming, monitoring, and troubleshooting these PLCs.
It’s essentially the USB version of the older 1747-PIC (which required a physical serial port) and the original Rockwell Automation 1747-UIC (which is now discontinued).
