Engraving marking Machine Laserpecker LP5
The LaserPecker LP5 is the latest and most powerful offering in LaserPecker’s line of portable laser engravers, pushing the boundaries of what a compact machine can achieve. Building on the dual-laser concept introduced with the LP4, the LP5 significantly boosts the power of both its laser sources.
The LaserPecker LP5:
- Enhanced Dual-Laser System: This is the core innovation, featuring two high-power laser sources:
- 20W 450nm Blue Diode Laser: A substantial upgrade in power compared to the LP2 (5W) and LP4 (10W). This diode laser excels at engraving and cutting organic and darker materials with greater speed and depth.
- Engrave: Wood, bamboo, paper, leather, fabric, rubber, food, glass (requires coating/spray), rock, stone, ceramic (color glazed), anodized aluminum, painted metals, 304 stainless steel, etc.
- Cut: Significantly improved cutting capability on wood (up to 20mm basswood), dark opaque acrylic (up to 15mm), paper, leather, and fabric.
- 20W 1064nm Pulsed Infrared Fiber Laser: This is a very powerful fiber laser for a portable unit, a significant leap from the LP3 (1W) and LP4 (2W). It’s designed for direct, high-contrast marking on metals and a wide range of plastics.
- Engrave/Mark: All common metals (gold, silver, stainless steel, aluminum, brass, copper, titanium, platinum, iron), most plastics (ABS, PET, PVC, nylon, polycarbonate, etc.), faux leather, and some treated stones.
- Cut (thin metals): Capable of cutting thin sheets of brass, stainless steel, aluminum, and titanium up to 1mm thick, which is remarkable for a portable machine.
- Automatic Laser Switching: The LP5 seamlessly (and often automatically via smart material recognition or user selection) switches between the diode and fiber lasers based on the material, ensuring optimal performance and results.

Applications for Engraving and Logo Marking:
- High-Volume Customization: Ideal for businesses that need to brand or personalize a wide range of products rapidly and efficiently.
- Marking: Precision engraving of logos, serial numbers, intricate designs on gold, silver, stainless steel, brass, and other metal items for jewelry, watches, tools, and industrial parts.
- Electronic Component Identification: Permanent marking on plastic casings, PCBs, and metal components in electronics manufacturing.
- Marking: Deep and detailed engraving of logos, patterns, and text on wooden crafts, furniture, leather goods, and custom apparel.
Why the LP5 stands good quality:
The LP5 essentially combines and significantly upgrades the capabilities of the LP2 (diode) and LP3 (fiber) for solution in a portable form factor. Its high laser power (20W for both sources) and extreme speed make it border on industrial-grade performance for many light-to-medium duty applications.
