MicroLogix Analog Input Module
The Allen-Bradley 1762-IT4 is a MicroLogix 1200 simple information module. In particular, this module is a thermo couple input module made specifically for temperature applications and direct transducer measurement.
The measuring range of the 1762-IT4 for temperature applications is -210 to 2315 degrees Celsius (-346 to 4199 degrees Fahrenheit). This module can be wired to up to four thermo couple sensors, which convert the received signals into data with a 15 bit (plus sign) resolution that can be configured for engineering units x one; scaled-for-PID;% of formats for full-scale and raw/proportional data.
Alongside the MicroLogix 1200 controller or another MicroLogix 1200 I/O module, the 1762-IT4 is mounted. It locks in place using the snap-on level on top of the module and adheres to standard DIN rail mounting. The type of sensor being used must be compatible with the cables that will be used with this module. Then Belden 8761 wire is recommended for wiring the mV signal.
