Laserpecker LP4 Engraving marking Machine
The LaserPecker LP4 is most advanced portable laser engraver to date, representing a significant leap forward by incorporating a dual-laser system. This unique feature combines the strengths of both diode and infrared lasers, allowing it to engrave and mark a vastly wider range of materials than its predecessors (LP2 and LP3).
Key Features and Capabilities:
- Dual-Laser System LP4:
- 10W 450nm Blue Diode Laser:
- Wood, bamboo, paper, fabric, leather, rubber, food.
- Dark opaque acrylic (for cutting up to 5mm).
- Lacquered metal, anodized aluminum, some painted metals, 304 stainless steel, tinted glass, color glaze ceramics.
- It can cut balsa wood up to 8mm thick.
- 2W 1064nm Pulsed Infrared Laser:
- Most pure metals and alloys: Gold, silver, copper, aluminum, iron, stainless steel, titanium, platinum, brass.
- Most plastics: ABS, PET, acrylic (opaque), PH, PVC, etc.
- Leather (different effect than diode laser), some stones.
- 10W 450nm Blue Diode Laser:
- Control & Software:
- Mobile App: Intuitive app for smartphones (Android/iOS) for design, parameter setting, and control.
- PC Software: Both LaserPecker’s own PC software (Windows & Mac OS) and the popular professional laser engraving software LightBurn
- File Formats: Supports a wide range including JPG, PNG, BMP, SVG, DXF, G-code.
Why it stands out (LP4 vs. LP2/LP3):
- LP2 (Diode): Good for wood, leather, painted metals, basic cutting.
- LP3 (IR): Specialized for direct metal and plastic engraving, high precision.
- LP4 (Dual-Laser): Combines the strengths of both. It can do what the LP2 and LP3 do (and better, with higher power/precision) but also automatically switch to optimize for the material. This versatility is its biggest advantage.
